and once more to the Manurewa Botanical Gardens

I am so lucky to live so close to such a wonderful Park. No matter how many times I visit, there are always new flowers and plants for me to photograph.

The beautiful rich Autumn colours of the Red Hot Poker make me believe that Autumn is just around the corner

even the row of red toilets hold a fascination

Kariotahi Beach - West Coast

Today was to have been an Artistic Impression Workshop at Kariotahi Beach. Due to inclement weather is was cancelled.  Because this was an area that I have never ventured to, Ross and I decided to go "take a look".

Manurewa Botanical Gardens

We have these beautiful gardens, litterally just around the corner from where I live.

A special place with lots of photographic opportunities.

Viaduct Events Centre - Wynyard Wharf - Auckland

The Architect's Legacy

Work in Progress

Verticals

Down at the Wharf

Went to one of my favourite places yesterday, only to find that there is a massive big building being errected. When finished it will be the Events Centre for the Rugby World Cup.
We were fortunate to be able to drive past and park our car.

Playing in a disused Railway Yard

Saleyard Road is located in Otahuhu
One of my Teeenage Haunts

Quite amazing what Old Paint and Rust
can create

Old battered containers,
used by people and now neglected
and left to the ravages of the elements

Almost all of these pictures
were created by time.
I was just lucky enough to
capture them with my camera
